Tube bundle dryer operates with a rotating rotor equipped with tubes that are indirectly heated by saturated steam. This design ensures gentle and uniform drying, as the wet material is conveyed through the dryer shell by stainless steel shovels. These shovels continuously lift and mix the material, ensuring it is evenly distributed over the steam-heated tubes. The slow rotation of the rotor ensures that the material remains in contact with the heated surface long enough to achieve the desired moisture content without thermal damage.

To handle challenging product feeds, such as adhesive or high-moisture content materials, the system can be equipped with a product mixing and recycling system, ensuring consistent and efficient drying performance.
