These tanks play a crucial role in the intermediate collection and feeding of starch and by-products, facilitating various operations such as slurry preparation, starch, fibre and gluten separation, refining, and dewatering.
Constructed from food-grade stainless steel, these tanks are designed with top motor-driven agitators to prevent sedimentation of starch solids. Standard features include transfer pumps and recycle lines (where gravity drainage is not possible), CIP nozzles, maintenance manholes, flushing water connections, and atmospheric vents. The tanks can also be equipped with various local instruments and sensors (for temperature, level, etc.), dedusting systems, and sample connections.
