Description:

Microtec's Starch Washing Hydro Cyclone is a critical component in achieving high-quality starch production by effectively washing out impurities such as fiber fragments, lipids, proteins, and dissolved substances from the starch slurry. This system employs a multi-stage, counter-current washing process that refines, concentrates, and recovers starch content before final dewatering and drying operations.

Hydro cyclone system consists of multiple cyclone batteries, each powered by dedicated centrifugal pumps, allowing precise control over the separation and washing processes. By using the counter-current flow principle, the system continuously concentrates and dilutes the starch with fresh water, ensuring maximum removal of contaminants while conserving water usage. The result is a purified, high-quality starch slurry, ready for further processing.

For enhanced durability and hygiene, starch washing hydro cyclone can be constructed entirely from stainless steel 304 or 316L housing, providing superior corrosion resistance and longevity.
