Description:

Microtec's Starch Refining and Recovery Unit is a compact unit of operation specially designed to extract and recover potato starch from potato debris and waste. It is bringing a wave of benefits to potato snack factories.

Microtec's Starch Refining and Recovery Unit receives washed and destoned waste potatoes, as well as starch milk and potato debris from the processing line. It extracts the starch from all waste potatoes, then filters the starch slurry from fibre and other impurities. It is a skid mounted unit, which is beneficial in multiple ways: It minimizes the work on-site, and only requires a small amount of space to install.

Starch Refining and Recovery Unit consists of the following sub-units:
